Pro Tools Edirol Ua 25 Driver: Tips and Tricks for Optimal Performance

Sib. 7.5: Can't find audio engine Posted by rickcritt - 10 May 07:31PM Hide picture Suddenly today Sibelius doesn't recognize my Roland EA-25 audio device. in audio engine setup there is no driver of any kind found. yet the EA-25 is working in Windows. I have tried reinstalling the device driver and tried opening Sibelius without the EA-25 connected to see if Sibelius would find the Windows audio drivers. Nothing. I have a deadline and need help.ThanksWindows 8.1 Intel Core i7-4720HQ CPU @ 2.60 GHz 2.59GHz64 bit 16 GB RAM Back to top Allthreads Re: Sib. 7.5: Can't find audio engine Posted by Robin Walker - 10 May 07:47PM Hide picture What is an "EA-25"? I can find no such product on the Roland site.Sibelius will not recognise any device that becomes online after Sibelius has been launched. What happens if you just turn if off and instead of the UA-25, try to use the sound card built into your computer? The field is blank. That sounds as if Sibelius is launching in ReWire mode. Use the buttons at the bottom of the "Audio Engine Options" panel to clean up ReWire.Alternatively, all your audio output devices have been black-listed by PlogueEngine. To fix this:- ensure Sibelius is quit; restart Windows if not sure;- click Start -> All Programs -> Avid -> Sibelius 7.5 -> Sibelius 7.5 User Data;- from the folder that opens, delete the folder "PlogueEngine";- now try launching Sibelius. If any further help is needed, please attach a screen-shot of the "Audio Engine Options" dialogue window.-- Sibelius 8.3/7.5.1/7.1.3/6.2/5.2.5, PhotoScore Ult 8.0.4, Dolet 6.6 for Sibelius, Windows 8.1/10 64-bit 16GB. So Sibelius has definitely started in ReWire mode. Keep pressing those buttons and restarting Sibelius until the buttons are greyed-out.Make sure that when you launch Sibelius, there is no DAW or similar ReWire-enabled application running at the same time that would encourage Sibelius to start in ReWire mode.If the buttons fail to go greyed out after a re-launch of Sibelius, you might need to reset the ReWire system manually: _US/Error_Message/en363759-- Sibelius 8.3/7.5.1/7.1.3/6.2/5.2.5, PhotoScore Ult 8.0.4, Dolet 6.6 for Sibelius, Windows 8.1/10 64-bit 16GB.
