I have been banging my head on an issue for the last couple of hours hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have a Windows Server Standard 2012 R2 Media that we purchased from an online vendor. The software came with a single product key and as I understand Windows Server 2012 Standard R2 includes 2 Virtual Machine installations. When I installed the media on the physical server I was able to activate Windows without any problems at all. I installed the Hyper-V role on the same host server and when I tried to perform a virtualized installation of Windows Server 2012 Standard r2 on the machine I received the error "We couldn't verify the product key. Please check your installation media."
Windows 8 couldnt verify product key check installation media
I have put in the CD while in 08 and ran adprep /forestprep and /domainprep without problem. I then ran setup. It comes up and asks for the key. I type it in and it comes back "We couldn't verify the product key. Please check your installation media".
Hi, I upgraded from win 7 pro to 10. My laptop worked fine for weeks, then refused to start windows one morning. I tried the repairs available (advanced options, etc). I then downloaded the ISO file for win 10, that contains all the win 10 versions, I retrieved the win 10 pro product key from my drive, but during the win 10 installation it says the the key is invalid. Can anyone advise me, please. Thank you.
AceOfSpades, the version of OS is Data Center, also the product key is for Data Center, I have two product keys for two servers, I tried both, then if the product key is wrong the error sentence is different than this, I think it is the installation media, I want to reinstall the iso file again and try that again.
Pit Stop, I've tried the same DVD before to install it on other machine, but may be because it is old for that it has some issues, usually I face the same step of product key, I've tried before to make a mistake with the product key and the error message is different than this, I'll check again to install the OS with the new installation media, may be it will work good this time.
If installing extensions or third party applications, confirm the software is compatible with the ArcGIS product installed or intended for installation. If unsure of compatibility with ArcGIS products, check with the developer of the software being installed.
